Floral Arrangements

Sherril was born and raised in Grand Cayman. She started HEART OF CAYMAN from a tiny little shop in the heart of the Industrial Park back in 1985. From there she organized weddings and created her fabulous floral arrangements. People were drawn by the spectacular window displays with unique exhibitions of flower pots and clever floral bouquets, candles, cuddly teddy bears and balloons. The ever changing scene was so popular that local children refused to go to bed until their parents had taken them by Sherril's window display of an evening!

Years later she moved into town and the business continued to boom. Her recipe for success? Sherril modestly states, long hours and determination! Although it surely helps to have her artistic talent and flair for great design. As the Island's beauty became better known people started arriving from near and far to celebrate their vows on our beautiful pristine beaches or in our tropical gardens; the demand for upscale, well planned weddings and functions also grew. The largest wedding Sherril has catered has been for 450 people and included everything from decorating the church, and the provision of flowers for the Bridal entourage, right down to decorating the Hyatt Pavilion, no small task given the size of the Pavilion - she cleverly created an intimate romantic atmosphere by installing a canopy inside the Pavilion! It was a beautiful day to remember and went off perfectly.

Recently, Sherril relocated HEART OF CAYMAN into the spacious and tropical surrounds of her home, appropriately named 'The Perfect Place'.

Located at 2350 West Bay Road, about a mile north of the West Bay Fire Station, The Perfect Place is a large Cayman style villa with a wrap-around verandah, surrounded by the most glorious garden filled with roses, hibiscus and oleander, hyacinth, bougainvillaea and violets. Visitors are welcome to wander through our garden, or stop by our shop to discuss weddings, flower arrangements, or to just enjoy spending the day.
